Description
This petanque mat identifies the throwing area. It is an alternative to the throwing circle.
It is pierced with a 7.5 centimetre diameter circle which makes it easier to grip. This circle is also positioned at the end of the lead above the goal to define the throwing zone of the next lead, in accordance with the rules of the game of petanque or Provencal bowls.
The advantages of the mat in relation to the circle :

- it is more comfortable thanks to the extra thickness between the soles and the ground
